Greetings!
We hope this finds you in good health and spirit! It has been some time since our last communication and we wanted to provide you with an update on Beacon of Hope Orphanage. The children, Cynthia, Les and staff have moved into the new facility on the converted rice farm and are setting in. Proudly, our initial goal of bringing water and electricity to the new facility has been accomplished thanks to your generous support!
Last holiday Beacon of Hope adopted 53 families for Christmas giving in the Philippines and continues to distribute clothing and food to people with need in neighboring communities. We continue to collect new and used children’s clothing in the U.S. and boxes are regularly being shipped to the Philippines.
Our next round of fundraising will help to make interior and exterior improvements at the orphanage and to create an outdoor recreational area for the children. In addition, Cynthia and Les hope to seek medical care in the U.S. for a couple of the children with special needs.
Your continued support and patronage is greatly appreciated. Attached please find information about the next Beacon of Hope fundraiser – we hope to see you there! You may purchase advance tickets from me over the phone, thank you!
